Crochet Plush Strawberry Bee

I am actually in love with plush crochet strawberry Bee’s! I have become an actual tiktok addict, I think I’m going to spend 5 minutes scrolling through but end up spending 2 hours. I didn’t actually think I would stumble upon other crochet tiktokers but I did! They all had one thing in common, plush strawberry bees! I’ve decided to share a quick pattern that I came up with when I decided to give them a go.

You will need:

• 6mm crochet hook
• Pink, White and Green chunky yarn. (I used James C. Brett Flutterby Chunky)
• Sewing Needle
• Scissors
• Large plastic safety eyes

Abbreviations:

• sc – Single Crochet
• MR – Magic Ring
• SlSt – Slip Stitch
• ch – chain
• inc – increase
• dec – decrease

Body

Starting with Pink yarn

1. ‘6sc into a MR’ or if you don’t like MR ‘ch.2 and 6sc in first ch.’ (6)
2. ‘inc in each st’ x6 (12)
3. ‘1sc then inc’ x6 (18)
4. ‘2sc then inc’ x6 (24)
5. ‘3sc then inc’ x6 (30)
6. ‘4sc then inc’ x6 (36)
7. sc in each st. (36)
8. sc in each st. (36)

Place safety eyes between rounds 4 and 5 approximately 9 stitches apart. (smile is optional)

Switch to White yarn!

9. ‘ sc in each st.’ (36)
10. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
11. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)

Switch to Pink yarn!

12. ‘ sc in each st.’ (36)
13. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
14. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)

Switch to White Yarn!

15. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
16. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
17. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)

Switch to Pink Yarn!

18. ‘ sc in each st.’ (36)
19. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
20. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)

Switch to White Yarn!

21. ‘sc in each st.’ (36)
22. ‘4sc then dec’ x6 (30)
23. ‘3sc then dec’ x6 (24)
24. ‘2sc then dec’ x6 (18)
25. ‘sc then dec’ x6 (12)
26. ‘dec’ x6 (6)

Tie off, cut yarn and sew in the end.

Wings (Make 2)

1. ‘6sc into a MR’ or if you don’t like MR ‘ch.2 and 6sc in first ch.’ (6)
2. ‘inc in each st’ x6 (12)
3. ‘1sc then inc’ x6 (18)
4. ‘2sc then inc’ x6 (24)
5. ‘BLO sc in each st.’ (24)
6. sc in each st. (24)

Tie off, cut yarn and finish off. Sew wings onto the back of the body.
